SPECIFIC MODELING/CODING PROJECTS
§ Developed a code in MATLAB to compute plasma temperature
using OH spectrum obtained from non-equilibrium atmospheric pressure air
plasma. Literature data for OH (304-310nm) was used as input to the code and an
estimate was obtained based on best fit with experimental results
§ Developed a code in MATLAB to explain the
plasma based inactivation processes of pathogens
§ Developed a C code to externally control
plasma properties in a fluid model computation in Fluent. The model involved
simulation of atmospheric pressure plasma glow discharge in argon
§ Developed CFD codes in MATLAB to solve flow
and heat transfer conditions based on various numerical schemes
§ Conducted 2D simulation for flow around an
aerofoil using Fluent
§ Conducted 2D simulation and comparison of
stress and deformation in a rectangular block with a central hole of different
shapes using Abaqus
