SPECIFIC MODELING/CODING PROJECTS

 

§  Developed a code in MATLAB to compute plasma temperature using OH spectrum obtained from non-equilibrium atmospheric pressure air plasma. Literature data for OH (304-310nm) was used as input to the code and an estimate was obtained based on best fit with experimental results

§  Developed a code in MATLAB to explain the plasma based inactivation processes of pathogens

§  Developed a C code to externally control plasma properties in a fluid model computation in Fluent. The model involved simulation of atmospheric pressure plasma glow discharge in argon

§  Developed CFD codes in MATLAB to solve flow and heat transfer conditions based on various numerical schemes

§  Conducted 2D simulation for flow around an aerofoil using Fluent

§  Conducted 2D simulation and comparison of stress and deformation in a rectangular block with a central hole of different shapes using Abaqus
